These are driveshafts for the AX10 or whatever else you can get them to work with.
I've never seen such build quality as I've found with MIP. They're in a league all their own with these shafts. Every piece fits with extreme precision. And every component of these shafts is incredibly beefy, even down to the set screws.
Because of how they were engineered, there is zero bind in the driveline with these, regardless of how contorted your AX10 becomes.
Even the finish on them, which, as best as I can tell, is a black color of the blueing chemicals used for gun barrels. I've dragged these shafts over a lot of sharp edges and there still isn't even a scratch on the shafts.
They come with simple instructions that are easy to follow, but make sure and follow them and you'll never have a hassle from them.
Mine didn't come with the tiny bag of grease for the couplings, but everything is steel so any wheel bearing grease will work well.
There was a minor defect on one of the couplings in my set and MIP shot me a new one without any hassle whatsoever. Two days after I called them, my replacement coupling was in my mailbox. They have very friendly and service-oriented customer service.
I wish they were set up to manufacture driveline components for full-sized rigs, but oh well.
If you're tired of messing with driveshafts and driveshaft retaining rings and tiny set screws, etc. on your AX10, these are a great way to not have to mess with the shafts again. |
