Among other hard crashes, my 11 year old son (second time driving on a track and except for 10 minutes in the driveway the first time driving the truck) put this into the wall at top speed, twice. It was horrible to watch but nothing broke. The shell is heavy/heavy duty and covers the chassis well. The rear axles came loose a few times. Annoying but easy to tighten. There must, I hope, be a better way to keep them secure, but, I haven't opened the manual yet. Driven out of the box without any adjustments it's clear the shocks need to be stiffened but besides that it appeared to me to go, turn and fly in the mix with the other 10 adult driven trucks on the track. We left happy and with a truck that wasn't broken. 4 stars for now. I will follow up. |
