I bought several of these as did friends and they never worked right--have a short range for radio reception, off and on glitch with car starting and stopping constantly--called A Main and Horizon who sent first a new Tx then a new speed control and neither changed anything. There is so much time into trouble shooting these things that still do not work.
Our school bought a dozen various ECX = Electrix cars and the majority have similar problems. I have called Horizon a number of times and they did send several radio components but most of the time the problem persisted. Though these have a low price and the plastic parts seem sturdy the electronics are usually worthless and discouraging to kids. Better to pay more for Traxxas or Associated and be happy for years. |
