I run this in my 4x4 scte 10 and wow, just wow, its easy, fast and runs fairly cool. A great setup for the price, you can't go wrong!! |

worst system i have ever purchased, gave this company a shot and had nothing but issues, first the rotor decided to un-glue itself from the magnet with less than a pack ran through the system (and this all happened during a race), and dealing with customer service the worst.. would not recommend this to anyone just stick to the name brand stuff and you will be fine ..... ended up getting a ballistic 550 4.5 with a havoc pro sc ran 6 packs through this already and its money..... just my 2 cents..[More…] |

So far so good! I matched this up with my Losi SCTE, And have had no issues with not having enough power! If anything I've had to turn it down a bit for my track. Cogging is virtually non existent, And it's pretty smooth! I have run about 20 packs through it, and have had no issues so far. At first it would get a bit warm, but after switching to a 13T pinion, it has been fine (with still plenty of power). The best part of this combo is the price!! I wedged this into my ofna hyper TT with a 23 tooth mod 1 pinion.it puts the words stupid fast into a different catagory.ty Viper.people only 2 cell .this is my 3rd viper combo not one bad think to say. |

This system is on and off, i am on my second combo and i already need a new replacement after running the motor for one day. i probably have spent more money on getting these shipped back and forth then what i have paid for the actual system. i am afraid of having the same issues with the lower kv motors such as the 4500 ones.
overall, not very happy with it at all! |

This set up is great - when it works. I went through several ESCs. Warranty support is good. It would go to program mode and you could not get it back out. It would not run. Never really got the problem figured out.
I dont like the way the wiring is attached to this motor. The rubber boot is very soft. It does not hold the wiring in place going into the can. One of my motor leads actually frayed and broke right as I set my truck on the track for a main. I was revving it up to check contro[More…] |

Been running this for a couple weeks in my son's Helion Dominus 4x4 SCT. I had a Castle Sidewinder SCT in there before, which was good... This combo bumps it up to... insane! Seems like Viper has finally got the kinks worked out of their mfg process - certainly had this on back order for a long time. The fit and finish on the whole thing is like a work of art. I am not happy with this system. I sent it back for replacement 2 times now, and I have only had about 5 minutes actual run time on all the systems they sent me. I am in the process of sending back their third system. All this is costing me more money than if I had spent a little more on a better system. |

Very smooth system! Runs cool, easy to set up (especially with pro gauge) and the price is right. I'm running this with 14 tooth pinion in losi scte and its wicked fast. Most guys wouldn't run this high of kv in a 4wd short course but I figured why not? Now I can run on the local 8th scale track if I want or just use the pro gauge to lower the throttle end point to run on smaller tracks.
