I got this motor because my tekin pro 4 4600kv motor and rx8 esc blew up. I also purchased a LRP iX8 esc. With my losi ten scte running on 2s 6500mah 90c lipo pack, it ran about 175 degrees with a 10 tooth pinion (the air temp was about 95 degrees). It didnt seem it had the explosive rpm's that i wanted. I decided i wanted to put a 3s 5000mah 35c lipo into the car (because you can also run a 3s lipo to it).
