Tire compound is not very sticky but is on the medium side. Foam inserts is on the soft side. I used these on the rear of my blitz on a astroturf track and they proved to be better then good but just short of great. I believe Astroturf is probably where these wheels shine as the softness in the track works in favor of the foam inserts and the medium compound with the thread pattern bites well into the surface without too much wear. I only managed 3/4 of a pack on these before i broke a drive shaft on the car so i can't say how fast they do actually wear in real life situation. For the price of these pre-mounts i would definitely recommend these to someone on a budget that runs on astroturf track. I have yet to try these on hardpack with a loose layer (will be my next test). Back Write Review
