These adapters are a great solution in trying to keep the axle pins from breaking, which was my original problem. But like many of these reviews have stated, the screws can strip. The included instructions say to add a small amount of locktite to the screw, DONT DO THIS. There is no need to apply locktite. Even if the screw comes loose, it doesn't matter if your tire is on the adapter; its not going anywhere. Just check the screw periodically. Overall these things are a good product and have saved me many headaches and DNF's from a busted axle pin. Buying a second set now. |
