I ordered both fronts and rears for my set up. I run the Pro-line ProTrac™ arms as well. If your running aftermarket control arms (which widen your wheel base) you need to order the longer bones....I pulled this info off of Pro-Lines site..... **While the stock axles will work with the ProTrac™ Suspension Kit, some customers may want a heavy duty CVD option for their truck (for Racing or Extreme Bashing purposes). The following MIP option has been confirmed to work with the kit: MIP #11104 X-Duty CVD Kit (2 Required for Front and Rear) MIP #10133 X-Duty Front Axle (2 Required for Front Left and Front Right) Additional note: If you already own X-Duty CVDs for the Slash®/Stampede® 4x4, you can use MIP #11105 Male bones to convert your drives to the new length. Axles can then be skipped in this case. Instead of using the supplied set screws to hold these to the rear I purchased 2 revo axle kits and used the supplied allen bolts to hold my axles in place. Even with red thread locker I noticed the allen set screws comming loose. The revo axle screws eliminated the problem and you dont have to worry about your expensive axles flying away. I run a 3s Lipo with a MMP and a NeuCastle 4600kv 4 pole and these have held up great. No visible signs of wear after a year of bashing. They're worth the money. |
