Just picked up this truck today. It took about 5 hours to fully assemble. The biggest problem I had putting it together was, how sore my arms and wrists are from twisting the screwdrivers! Very solid feeling truck! I havent had time to paint the body or even take it outside yet... its raining :( . One thing that I read in reviews was that AE used lots of the same sized bolts, to me i would have to disagree. This truck has TONS of bolts and lots of different sizes! also the instructions do not say to start @ bag "A" and work your way through the alphabet. I know its kind of obvious but a little better direction for newbies would be great. Also there are a few extra parts in this kit that are nowhere in the manual, namely the "radio box". There is a center plate that you are able to use instead of using the radio box and strap plate for the ESC. Something else to keep in mind, if the steering servo you are going to use doesn't have an extra long cord, you will have to use an extention. Thats it for now, i will update this after the weekend of running it @ the track! |
