I've had this motor in my slash platinum 4x4 since new and not a single problem. I liked it so much that I bought a used one off ebay and it too works like new. I put this used motor in my Tamiya Rising Storm (aka DF-02) and it twisted the dogbones (and they are thickish) it was so powerful! This motor with it's ESC is very clean and simple looking compared to other systems. If it's powerful enough to twist dogbones and make my slash do a standing wheelie on the track, then that's enough for me.
