had this system on a 4x4 slash for a couple of months racing at local track. this is "THE" motor for short course racing. Punch (torc) is awsome, top end great running 14/54 nobody pulls on me no matter what they run or how much it cost. The speed control however needs a little something. fryed my esc in two weekends took castle 5 weeks to get it back, but it is brand new with some obvious updates, like taller cooling fins. Pair this motor up with the mamba max pro esc and it is an awsome performer as well as nearly bulletproof! by the way that is what I'm running now and the sct esc is a good spare. The cooling fan that comes with this thing is a freeby because that is what its worth, have seen them last as long as a month as little as an hour on the track. The motor is worth the price of this package. |
