I hate to contradict another review, but I have seen these run HARD for an entire racing season in a bone stock 2WD Slash and have zero problems. I have also used them in low priced RWD buggy along with an XL-5 Brushed ESC with no issues. When geared correctly it does heat up a bit but not so much that the motor would fry itself. Brushed motors naturally run hot and have a limited life compared to brushless due to their "brushes". Dollar for dollar this seems like the most powerful motor you can buy. |
