these connector work very well.I replace my Tamiya plug with there because running a 12t motor and the tamiya plug melt together had to cut them apart. these connector do not even get warm and i am using ProTek NIMH 3000 7.2v and my battery stay lot cooler too.

connectors are super easy to solder. just make sure you don't solder past the indicated line as it will be difficult getting the terminal into the slot. but nothing a file can't help yeah? might be pricey, but well worth it :)
