I have been using the MX-3X radio for a while now and I really like it. This was my first digital radio, so I was a little intimidated at first with all of the features. I have experienced no trouble at all with this system. I am using it with a Futaba S3050 digital servo and a Novak Havoc Pro SC/Ballistic 6.5t - all installed in a Factory Team T4.1. The range is superb, and I have experienced no glitching. I actually like the feel of the Spektrum DX3E - the grip fits my hand better - but after comparing all other aspects of both radios I went with Airtronics and am happy with my choice. A friend of mine has the DX3E and the range seems to be a bit shorter, he loses control of his truck while mine keeps going with the MX-3X. I am very happy with my purchase, and the MX-3X is very well built and is loaded with features, many of which I will never use! |
