i have had this motor and a 6.5 thew 10.5 turn as long as you have the gearing right and not over heating then you are good to go. i love the fact that it is a simple and easy on the cash to rebuild and as stated they fit in MANY models with out trying to mod anything dew to were the sensor wire is at in the motor now i use mine for drift where there is little to no traction on the track so the rpm get up there real quick as long as you clean your motor and make sure you cont bind in up near[…]

Cooked my balistic 13.5 that i purchased for club racing after 2 months, wrong gearing i presume or the novak needs better thermal handling characteristics.My traxxas velineon is still goin strong after 6 months of hard thrashin.

after further investigating the problem that I had with this motor,I would like to say that it was my fault the motor blew up.disregard my previous comment.I will be getting another one when it is in stock to try out. -//- keep away from this motor,it's crap.it only lasted one race.

Ive ran the 13.5,17.5,21.5....no issues love all three of them ...plus thier rebuildable...and they fit better then most motors out because of the sensor harness input on the motor and endbell area is smaller.... adrian u should contact novak

Ran for the first time yesterday and it went great, very fast and lots of bottom end. This motor runs great, and the quality is top notch, very well built motor, after bad luck with other brands I believe that this is the best built motor out.
