I continue to get compliments and "where'd you get that questions" all the time when I show up to the track with this bag. After a season or so of use and all the compliments figured it was time for a review. Bag is very durable, after a season of wear n tear you can hardly tell it's been out and about racing on over 25 trips. Recommend this bag to anyone who wants most of their gear in one spot - people freak when they see the car is inside the bag too :) You'll have tons of space with this bag[More…] |

This is a duplicate of the Team Magic F8 1/8 bag, and I know as I have both of these. I had my Team Magic for over 5 years and then bought this as it looked the same. When I put it together the drawers were exact and tool tray was exact. Just realize you are getting a Blue Team Magic bag with Protek name on it, and HALF the price. I can easily fit 1/8 buggy with tires and wing in top drawer with other items. This is a great bag and the blue is way better then the orange color. THANKS!! |

When I initially got ready to write this review, it was going to be 2 maybe 3 stars. I had the bag for about a week and developed a tear on the front flap of the tool compartment right at the stitching. I was pretty sure I didn't snag it on anything...but you never know.
I contacted A-Main and they stepped up immediately and replaced my bag with a new one. Once I contacted them and sent some pics of the damage, the only questions they had was where to send the replacement. They sent a UP[More…] |

I wanted to update my first review. Shortly after posting it, "Heather", who must be a goddess of some kind, wrote me an e-mail to say that they were sending me a replacement skin for the case and to just send them back the defective one that I had. She even went as far as to run and pull the replacement case off of the truck that I had just ordered! I must say, I wish more companies had customer service like A-main does. I REALLY want to say this is a great hauler, it's great quality, seems very rugged and holds all my stuff.....BUT my truggy! I have a Serpent Cobra-T, if I remove the top drawer I can manage to squeeze the thing in, barely. To fit in the drawer I'd need it to be at least 2-2.5" wider and 1" longer, even without the wheels on. BUMMER!! Given my other options and the price I paid I'll definately keep it, I just wish I could use the top drawer to catch the the nasty stuff after a day of fun ins[More…] |

The hauler bag is largel and has plenty of usable space... holds all of my RC stuff with room left over. Although it has a few problems.
One of the zipper broke the first week.
The top drawer does not slide easy. (hangs up on the rivets that hold the slider for the t -handle)
The carrying handle ripped out of the side of the bag. (cannot lift the bag any more)
The second zipper broke after about a month of use.
I did not expect it to be this delicate.

Coming up on two years now for my ProTek Hauler Bag, and its still in great shape!
It holds everything you need for a day at the track and is just the right size to fit into tight spots if needed.
It seems like I receive at least one comment or question about it at each race I attend.

After attending my first non local race and having to take several trips up and down the stairs to get all my stuff into my hotel room I decided it was time to get a hauler. I made the right choice! After reading several reviews and even watching some reviews on youtube, I decided to buy this hauler bag. It is a really nice hauler bag. It has lots of room and you can configure it so many different ways. I can fit everything in it besides my radio( but that's only because it's a radio post and it comes in a bulky case). I purchased this bag around march of this year. It has plenty of space for my 1/10th parts and accessories. I really like how easy it is to have just one big bag. The draws are nice but don't slide well. The side pockets are kind of hard to access cause of the straps going over them. The wheels do not roll that well over gravel which is mostly what I have to roll it over when I go to my local tracks. With all that said its still holding up nicely. I had the same thing happen to my bag also(bumed) so I did what the other guy did,but went one step more,I put small metal L shaped brackets on the bottom,just like on top.(4 on each side,2 on top,2 on bottom) problem fixed. |

Hauler bag is great all around EXCEPT for one minor issue. The two plastic side panels are held at the top with plastic pieces of material to hold the top shelf and stop from sagging. Guess what, one was broke when I received (fell out when I was unboxing) and the other broke after the first week of use. It's a bad design and they use weak material. These pieces are pop riveted to the top plastic shelf. I simply took two pieces of metal right angle and screwed to top shelf. Fixed for good now. [More…] |

This is a great bag. Very good construction and hold all my stuff. The only thing I would change is I would make the inner plastic liner stronger. The top tool compartment sags from the weight and makes the top drawer get caught. I fixed it by replacing the plastic with wood paneling. |

I was skeptical at first for buying the hauler bag. Let’s face it almost 200.00 bucks is a lot of money with times as bad as they are. When the box was home waiting for me I was surprised at how heavy it was. With assembling the hauler bag I was impressed on the craftsmanship and how heavy duty the plastic walls were and the outer zipper/Velcro pockets. The wheels and mounts are of great strength. I ordered this bag a while back to help streamline all my equipment, "Got tired of hauling several boxes of stuff back and forth to and from the track". Had the bag 1 week and found one flaw. on thebottom plastic plate opposite the wheels. The little tab that goes up and holds the side panel in. Mine broke so I used 2 wide 90 degree metal L brackets. Hole on the L bracket matched up with the little plastic feet on the bottom of the bag. Problem solved |

This is my first bag I shopped around for a while trying to decide.This bag was worth the money its a good bag.The top drawer fits 4 sets of 1/8 scale truggie tires just fine.I was disapointed when my truggie could not fit in the top drawer so I came up with an idea when hauling I put my truck on top of the bag and hold it down with the handle strap and it holds very well, all drawers open very smoothly the only drawer I had a prob with sticking was the top drawer so I trimmed about 1/8inch[More…] |

love this bag just recieved it. I had a blast building it and putting all my stuff in it. it holds a 1/8 buggy with wheels and wing with no proplem. best bag on the market, high quality, i wouldnt think twice about this, id just buy it! its much larger than i thought which is good, it has plenty of space for all your parts/tools ect. great bag i would buy it again. |

Just purchased the "Version 2" bag. Ordered Sunday night and received it Tuesday. The bag was assembled very smoothly thanks to the instruction manual. The new plastic reinforcements makes this bag much more rigid then other bags i have seen or owned. The drawers open smoothly even with heavy items in them. I would say this is currently the best bag on the market! |
