Purchased for my 4 year old son and I love driving this thing. I strongly recommend purchasing a front steering mount conversion (East End Machining) as well as the metal front steering linkage and stronger servo. I finished off the mods with a 176:1 gearbox conversion, rear steering to match the front and a swap to the XL-5 motor and waterproof speed controller from Traxxas (donated). Oh - and wide axle adapters for the HPI GT S compound tires on Proline wide offset 2.8 rims. It is awesome to get and build. 2 years of ownership, and only broken an axle outdrive dogbone when 4 year old attempted to scale inverted rock ledge. |
