I've been punishing this thing for two years now, first on my AX10 and now, for about a year, on my XR10. I have punished this servo frequently and for a long while now and it has shown zero signs of decline. I'm so impressed with the combo of torque, speed, price, durability, and low battery drain, that I won't be getting one of Hitec's newer, higher torque servos to replace it. I'll go right back to the 7954-SH.
As mentioned by another reviewer, definitely make sure you get the endpoints adjusted so you're not locking it up again shocks, chassis, etc. I've always double-checked my end point adjustment before running it and I couldn't ask for more from a product. With the EPA correct, you're not going to wear this servo out until well after you know you got your money's worth from it. |
