I started out in 1/8 buggy RC using Hitec servos only to have multiple failers, i then switched to Futaba and Ace for the following 3 yrs and have had no problems except for general wear and tear, as soon as the Hitec 7.4 volt servs came out i decided to give them a go for obvioius resons but low and behold 2 months later my HITEC throttle servo started smoking up, this stuffed the race i was winning and almost stuffed the rest of my electrical gear.
No more Hitec for me, and if you value your hard earned cash i would sieriously consider another servo manufactuer. |
