I've been punishing this thing for two years now, first on my AX10 and now, for about a year, on my XR10. I have punished this servo frequently and for a long while now and it has shown zero signs of decline. I'm so impressed with the combo of torque, speed, price, durability, and low battery drain, that I won't be getting one of Hitec's newer, higher torque servos to replace it. I'll go right back to the 7954-SH.
As mentioned by another reviewer, definitely make sure you get the endpoints[More…] |

This was the first upgrade I did to my night crawler and well worth it. I replaced it with a Hitec 7950 just because I wanted a few more ounces of torque but I never had a problem with it. I know run one in my Honcho and another in my dingo and their great. For the price I don't think you could find a better servo. |

I have run a number of different Hitec servos in all kinds of applications and have yet to have on fail. I run two of these in my 8ight T 2.0 and they are awsome.
Don't take any notice of people having problems with motors frying. This in 99% of all cases is due to bad EPA adjustment and the servos working against a lock. As these servos are ultra powerful and will pull a huge current when locked the motor will overheat. Always take extra care when setting up your radio before using these and t[More…] |

I don't know why these haven't had a review yet but I have been running these in my MBX6T for the past few months, one on the steering and one on the throttle/brake. They are fast and very powerful. Hitec makes a great product and as long as your EPA's are set properly, I am assuming, they will last quite some time. I run all weekend long on a 2300mAh and only have to put 1200mAh back into the battery. I run it with this voltage indicator ( http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/products_i[More…] |

I have purchased two of these servos for my buggy, Both in a short time Life pack (6.6volts) got them back from Hitec , re-installed in buggy to brake in a new motor and after 15 mins same thing happened to it. Hitec keeps replacing a Gear. Done with Hitec. |

I started out in 1/8 buggy RC using Hitec servos only to have multiple failers, i then switched to Futaba and Ace for the following 3 yrs and have had no problems except for general wear and tear, as soon as the Hitec 7.4 volt servs came out i decided to give them a go for obvioius resons but low and behold 2 months later my HITEC throttle servo started smoking up, this stuffed the race i was winning and almost stuffed the rest of my electrical gear.
No more Hitec for me, and if you value you[More…] |
