I recently purchased this book along with my new Slash 4x4. Since I'm new to the RC world, I figured a book that has some basic maintenance tips in it would be a good thing. Overall, this book isn't too bad. BUT, it was published in 2006, so a lot of the info is out dated. For example, the section on radios just gives a brief introduction on the 2.4Ghz technology. It says that it is brand new and mainly used by the pros. Today, it seems to be fairly standard. Also, not a whole lot of info on bru[…] |
