This truck is a monster! very durable. I've had mine for 3 months now. only thing I would upgrade are the driveshafts. the monster is simply too strong for the stock plastic. It runs great with the stock batteries. and the mamba monster is amazing! great torque, great speed, and completes a great truck. I would recommend this truck to everyone.

It's really a shame when you have to spend twice as much as the original price of the model to make a good rc truck, car, helicopter ect. Traxxas, Losi, Axial all need to try harder and get the aftermarket stuff on the rig out of the box. That way they can compete for our money with who has the best product.

Incredible truck, larger than I expected and fast too! With the stock batteries it'll wheelie on command and can definitely hold up to abuse. It's ready to go right out of the box too, and comes with all sorts of tools and spare parts. I would definitely recommend it to the backyard basher!

This is my first rc car and it is awsome. An a-arm broke when I jumped 12 feet, so I replaced them with rpm and nothing bad so far. It goes fast and is very easy to clean. Thumbs up!

if you look at the hpi or losi monster truck nitro or electric they have steel shafts. the hpi savage flux hp same esc and motor has a all steel gear transmission and steel dog bones yes it a dog bone but its STEEL not plastic with metal joints to break the plastic. and the hpi has a steel chassis plates. this e-maxx bre will break its chassis if you land on a single tire front or rear with any extreme angle like above 45 degreas your gonna need some parts. plus the hpi savage is 40 bucks less [More…]

Very unreliable as a 6s jumper basher. 4s will still break everything but slower. I couldnt find a driveshaft or cvd that wouldnt snap, some were slower but they all broke. The vehicle was much more reliable with brushed motors. It doesnt seem it can handle high power brushless. At high speeds and high torque it eats itself-on oroad drivetrain issues, off road the whole truck especially when jumping. $600+ and then I needed for durability: firm trinity shock springs, big bore shocks, Rpm arms, [More…]

Update: @ Joshua Sherwood Try to fly 9 feet with your Emaxx and then you'll know what I'm talking about...!!! Emaxx brushless edition is the worst monster truck i have ever driven, it keeps breaking even with low speed crushes. I've changed more than 3 chassis till now and double of that of bulkhead, I don’t need to mention how many times I changed the suspension arm and the shock tower and the drive shafts. the positive thing is the ESC and motor, gear, diff, servos, and receivers. I do[More…]
