I like the traction of these DD's out of the bag but was very concerned with the amount of wear I got after one race day on my Losi SCTE 4x4.
1st race: soft newly laid clay, wet, sewer pipe barriers: tires had bald spots in strips. Probably from contact over sewer pipes or other cars.
2nd race: put 2 new ones on to replace the ones that were most damaged. Track conditions: blue groove track, calcium hardened with grape soda added: pin wear was down to almost no tread throughout after 2 qua[More…] |
