I was about to give up on my Losi Muggy, (AKA Losi Clutchkiller). I tried carbon shoes, 7075 aluminum shoes, low gearing, vented clutch bells, titanium nitride clutch bells and even expensive ceramic bearings, none of those things gave me more than 2-5 tanks of run-time, before the shoes melted and the bearings seized.
As a last resort I decided to buy the best clutch on the market, I bought the Fioroni turbo slider with the carbon shoes and put on a 12t vented clutch bell with ceramic bearin[More…] |
