SCX Presents the Basic Set, a simple, easily assembled track that allows you to experience the excitement of slot car racing from the start...behind the wheel of a Corvette C6R or Ferrari 360! The SCX Basic Set includes two great cars to make your races entertaining, and most importantly, FAST! The simplicity of the track layout, together with the four changeover tracks where you can overtake your opponent by making a pass, then changing into their lane, make the SCX Basic Set the ideal circuit to develop skill and trigger control. Like all SCX tracks, the SCX Basic Set is expandable with the Pit Box, bridges with lights, and more! This allows you to build on to your track as your skills improve and more demanding track circuits are desired.
SCX Digital Track Features:
- Change lanes to pass the competition: Thanks to the
digital technology you can now change lanes and pass your competitors
by pressing a button on your hand throttle, sending the digital
instruction to the car.
- Compete with up to 6 players: No need to wait your turn to
race with SCX! This digital system allows up to six players on the same
two lane track! (NOTE: Requires optional Digital Control Unit, available
seperately)
- Monitor constant race information: Digital communication
is constantly flowing between the car and the hand throttle as well as
each SCX electronic accessory. Accessories available seperately,
including Chronometer, Lap Counter and Pit Box.
- Determine your race strategy: By adding the Pit Box
Accessory (available seperately), you can program each race in a unique
way by adjusting fuel tank size, entering the Pit Box to refuel the
car, and adjusting brake intensity. When you run low on fuel, your
smart car will start to stutter, or if you enter pit row to fast, you
get a penalty! This adds a new level of realism to the racing that
requires the drivers to develop throttle control and racing strategy.
