This is the SCX 1/32 Scale Digital GT Slot Car Racing Set with Pit Box and three 1/32 GT class cars. With digital technology, you can race up to 6 cars on this 2-lane slot track! Cars can actually change lanes to pass other competitors! There is a constant flow of information between the car and the base unit through a digital chip installed in the cars allowing information to be sent to the base unit.
The Pit Box
allows you to program each race in a unique
way by adjusting fuel tank size, entering the Pit Box to refuel the
car, and adjusting brake intensity. When you run low on fuel, your
smart car will start to stutter, or if you enter pit row to fast, you
get a penalty! This adds a new level of realism to the racing that
requires the drivers to develop throttle control and racing strategy. Slot Car racing has never been this fun and realistic!
SCX Digital Track Features:
- Change lanes to pass the competition: Thanks to the
digital technology you can now change lanes and pass your competitors
by pressing a button on your hand throttle, sending the digital
instruction to the car.
- Compete with up to 6 players: No need to wait your turn to
race with SCX! This digital system allows up to six players on the same
two lane track! (NOTE: Requires optional Digital Control Unit, available
separately)
- Monitor constant race information: Digital communication
is constantly flowing between the car and the hand throttle as well as
each SCX electronic accessory. Accessories available seperately,
including Chronometer, and Lap Counter.
