This is the optional SCX Digital Lap Counter. This piece provides constant information about the progress of the race, including who is leading, and counts down laps. The SCX Digital lap counter is also upgradeable to 6 cars using the Lap Counter Expansion Module (#25010). If you have a set with a pit box, all the programming can be done directly from the Pit Box, there is no need to use the buttons on the lap counter.
