Losi has taken the most desired elements of the everyday monster truck enthusiast and put together the biggest, baddest, most powerful entrance level monster truck ever offered…. The Aftershock. Bigger is better and the Aftershock is the biggest out there dwarfing all comers. Big power comes from a big block M26SS engine through a shift on the fly 2- speed transmission for the best combination of acceleration and top speed. And the transmission is filled with big steel gears instead of wimpy plastic pieces doomed to fail. The power is transmitted through heat-treated steel CV style driveshafts and aluminum cased steel geared differentials to the giant chrome wheels and huge rubber tires. The big rugged suspension arms are controlled by the biggest shocks in the business – over 3 times larger than those found on other models. Genuine rubber sealed ball bearings keep everything rolling freely while keeping dirt and debris out. Big power and big performance needs big control and the Aftershock’s sensational package is completed with another Losi exclusive, the premium JR XR2i computer based radio system. There is not one but two metal geared steering servos that allow you to keep control of this monster. The other remarkable features include multiple model memory, servo adjustments, and easy to read LCD screen. Best of all you can customize or personalize your truck with the wide assortment of genuine Losi performance and appearance parts currently available.

To me this truck for the price is a good buy. Maybe spend a few more bucks and get the Limited it's probably worth it in the long run. In the last couple years I've put an OS 30VG and a set 40 series and have only broken the exhaust bracket that mounts from the pipe to the chassis.

i have the revo 3.3 monster truck and all i could say is this truck kicks some heavy duty ass. And right out of the box . It needs nothing but fuel and a couple aa batteries. Its by far the best truck out there well worth the cash.

I bought this truck about three weeks ago and have 1 gallon on it all ready! this truck has been a blast to drive. The only thing on this truck that has broken after the abuse that it has seen was the antenna tube. I have set this truck up as a racer and it does very well. If you purchase this monster truck i guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Losi Aftershock Monster Truck RTR W/.26 & XR2i Radio
This is a great truck! The suspension is awesome and the handling for a monster truck is great. I would have rated it a 5 but the throttle servo on mine died after the third tank of gas and the throttle subtrim on the radio has started acting up. The cons to it I have experienced so far is the clutchbell gets pretty hot getting this truck moving and the brakes or brake adjustment setup is pretty poor, they like to bind up sometimes. The rest of the drivetrain is very stout as is the truck. All in all this truck is one of the best values for MT's there is,did I mention how FAST this thing is:] You will eventually want to upgrade the 2 speed gears/clutch system to the LST2 type also. AMAINHOBBIES rocks!!

First off, A MAIN HOBBIES gave the best price on the net for this truck. Secondly it is probably the best deal out of the box for the money. This truck was built by racers and handles extremely well. Very easy to work on, simple design, and easily upgradable. Have put it through break in and still running it rich for the time being but it still packs a nice punch and remains really stable over bumps and jumps, unlike alot of other Monster trucks that tumble and flip relatively easily. I can already tell how well this truck will do for bashing. If you want to save a little money but want a big, fun, and fast truck that wont fall apart on you...this is your ride.

Losi Aftershock Monster Truck RTR W/.26 & XR2i Radio
Actually, it's Eric Sheridan.........Laura is my mom, anywho I just bought the Team Losi Aftershock about a month ago and as of today 9/20/07 I oficially got it broke in and running. Tuning it and ajusting it was no problem, I got it about 4 turns out on the high side and about 1 & 1/4 turns out on the throttle and that was it. I had it 5 turns out on the high side and noticed it was spitting a considerable amount of fuel out of the exhuast, so I turned it back a notchnow it's fine. When I was running it, I had it slammed to the ground and my next door neighbor said " Wow that's fast. " I then hopped it up and ran one more tank of fuel through it before dinner and 'Damn it's fast', it jumped rocks like it was nothin and also handled over and through the rocks in our & neighbors' yards ! All-in-all, I would say that this truck " KICKS ASS " , even with the stock tuned pipe ! I will probably take it bashing this weekend to see what kind of abuse it can really handle ! I would definately consider this one for the money , it's a perfect starter 4wd truck that you could just bash in your back yard or even race with. I've heard others say that it's race ready right out of the box and I think they're right, maybe a HT tuned pipe, maybe not,....your choice ! Also extremely easy to work on !

bought this truck and after the break in found a little sluggish, nothing like my savage. after a new tuned pipe and the upgrade kit all i can say is WOW. not a racer but a definate basher that competes with the torture i put the hpi through. great truck.

BUY THIS TRUCK!

If you are even thinking about buying a monster truck, buy this one.

Cheap, bulletproof, fast and almost race ready (B Main)is how this thing pops out of the box.

If you have too much $, then buy the LST2 and be done.
