This is the optional SCX Digital System Chronometer. The Chronometer is a timing system that works independently from the lap counter and Pit Box, and is fully compatible with both units. It keeps track of each car, the fastest lap, average lap speed, distance behind the winner, and displays in flashing or constant mode depending on whether the car is in first place (or not).
The Digital Chronometer has 2 functions:
- 1) Timing During a Race: To see fastest laps, average lap times, the total time a race lasts and time differences between the winner and the other cars.
- 2) Qualifying Heat: Run a qualifying heat and each car's placing will be recorded; therefore, their positions on the race starting grid.
Note: The Digital Chronometer Expansion Module is needed (#25080) when there are more than 3 competitors in the race (up to a maximum of 6).
