Team Orion has released the Platinum 2 Edition 5000mAh 7.4V LiPo pack, the latest in their already extensive line-up. This is the next evolution of the pack started it all—the first hard-cased LiPo battery in the hobby industry for R/C cars. The Platinum 2 Edition 5000 is based on a the original Platinum which has often been imitated but never duplicated. The updated Platinum 2 Edition provides “next-level” LiPo performance, weighs less than a conventional battery pack, and adheres to the most rigorous safety standards.
The 20C cells are once more made by Kokam, and they have been mounted in a rugged impact-resistant protective case, while for further protection the pack has an integrated fuse that protects it in the event of any problems that may occur. The Platinum 2 Edition is capable of 500+ cycles—it’s simply the standard against which all others are measured.
The Team Orion Platinum 2 features a balancer connection and is supplied with two 4mm gold connectors and a Tamiya plug mounted cable.
Team Orion's SLPB Li-Po battery packs features more capacity and lower
