This is a pack of four 1/8th scale buggy medium shaped foam inserts form AKA Racing. AKA was the first R/C tire manufacturer to introduce a ground foam insert. These inserts have not only changed the R/C tire industry but they have also changed the of the way we race. Innovations:
Better Balance: The balance of tire inserts has always been an issue in R/C racing, but AKA has pioneered a revolutionary manufacturing technique to produce the most balanced inserts on the market. These special inserts keep the tires running straight and true, which means your tires are always in contact with the racing surface for more traction than has even been possible with conventional inserts.

Tire Support: AKA uses a material and process that has never been used in making inserts. The special closed-cell foam feels substantially stiffer than typical foam inserts, and for good reason. Through rigorous testing for over a year, and drawing from decades of racing experience, it was discovered that the firm foam and the progressive nature in which the insert compresses, provides the best support for the tire. So your tires are not riding on the sidewall during hard cornering, they're riding on the full surface of the tread for unmatched traction and precise steering response.

Superior Precision: AKA inserts are precision-cut with state of the art machinery. This ensures the ultimate consistency from insert to insert. There's no trimming, balancing or stuffing required, simply run the inserts as they are right out of the package and experience the best and most consistent performance ever from a tire insert.

Durability: The revolutionary AKA inserts are setting new standards in the market. Many conventional inserts experience significant degradation before a single set of tires are worn out, and many of them degrade further when exposed to water (e.g. when washing your tires). AKA inserts are unaffected by water, virtually eliminate tearing common with other inserts, and last through multiple sets of tires. During testing, depending on track abrasiveness and tire compound, team drivers have used a single set of inserts in more than 20 sets of tires without any significant degradation.

Notes from the team:
Many of the team drivers will re-use these inserts and save them when a softer more broken down insert is needed. A softer more broken down insert is often used when track conditions are very bumpy or when traction is extremely low.
