The new Traxxas Slash Short-Course Race Truck puts you in the drivers seat for intense fender-to-fender, high-flying off-road action. The full-scale Short-Course Race Trucks embody the spirit of Traxxas R/C with their extreme 800+ horsepower racing engines full-throttle, dirt-roosting power slides, giant suspension travel, and Supercross-style big-air jumps. The Traxxas Slash brings all the action home so you can experience the high-speed head-to-head competition at the track or in your own backyard.

The Slash was inspired by the CORR™ (Championship Off-Road Racing) Pro-2™ class. The 4-wheel independent suspension has been carefully tuned to replicate the Pro-2 driving and handling experience as closely as possible. The tires use advanced tread design and sophisticated rubber compounds to provide incredible grip off-road with enough versatility to also perform well on concrete and asphalt. The fenders cover the tires for wheel-to-wheel racing without getting tangled up. The Traxxas Slash is only the second Ready-To-Race® model ever to come equipped with our exclusive watertight, sealed electronics. They provide the freedom to drive where you want to drive through water, mud, snow, and other wet-running conditions that wouldn’t have been possible before.

Traxxas Slash 1/10 Scale RTR Electric 2WD Short-Course Truck (w/Battery & Wall C
This IS a GREAT truck i put a sidewinder esc and vxl motor and it does blow by everybody... the only time i had something break, was wen me and my friend were jumping stairs and i hit the handrail and that blew out my front end. Great truck

P.S. i was going full speed -//- Not his model there is a different slash that comes with one. For the slash 4x4 i already have the brushless would it still cost as much as buying the new one -//- Can you upgrade this to 4x4 with all the same stuff on the new slash and if so how much -//- This thing doesnt have enough power stock. You have to make it brushless it just helps it so much. -//- So it is good with brushless but change the shock towers -//- Would a clear window, black body, for slash, with a couple of monster stickers on it cause that looks awsome. Also what kind of electric 4wd truck would you want that has decent speed? -//- What kind of battery and charger would you put in this truck thats waterproof? -//- Does this come with a battery or not? It looks awsome and really basic stuff not a lot of stuff like the e-revo! -//- Ive seen that do you know how much that will be that looks so cool though but i think its to much -//- Is the slash brushless or is it just a titan 550. does anyone have it is it reliable. -//- Should I buy this or the e-maxx my freind andi dont know witch one

Traxxas Slash 1/10 Scale RTR Electric 2WD Short-Course Truck (w/Battery & Wall C
I got this truck about 3 months ago and i have never had anything break. its a little underpowered stock, but put a sidewinder 5700 in and this truck will SCREAM past all the others... i dont race my slash, but it is an amazing bash truck for anybody just looking for something fast and tough.
-note: rotate wheels front to rear if you upgrade to any brushless; you will get more time out of the tires; i burned the first set up pretty quick.
great truck for any age/skill level
unfortunately i didnt get my truck from Amain... i coulda saved $20 at the time.
Definitely buying another!

Traxxas Slash 1/10 Scale RTR Electric 2WD Short-Course Truck (w/Battery & Wall C
Thirty years ago I paid twice that amount for race cars that did not match the performance of this slash. I am currently using my Slash as a toy for my dog. This Welch Gorgi chases and sometimes catches my truck. She is losing weight and looks much sleeker. She has treated this truck without mercy yet it keeps going as if it had not endured the ferocious fangs of the dog. The only evidence for this abuse is lots of bite marks on the shell and no damage whatsoever to the rest of the truck. I was so impressed with this torture test, that I just bought one for my 6 year old grandson. He too will torture this truck but I know it can take it.

This is the best possible buy for entry into high performance electric RC trucks.

Traxxas Slash 1/10 Scale RTR Electric 2WD Short-Course Truck (w/Battery & Wall C
A fun truck at a good price. The only must-have upgrade needed are the aluminum shock caps. The stock caps pop off quite easy. Otherwise a very durable truck. I race in the expert class at Sunrise Rc Raceway in Bethel, Ohio, and we have a great time.

Traxxas Slash 1/10 Scale RTR Electric 2WD Short-Course Truck (w/Battery & Wall C
I love my Slash. I got it for my Birthday on June 26th 2008 and I am more than happy with it. In January this year I upgraded to brushless(Sidewinder 5700) and stock I only broke one part, brushless of course I have broken some but this truck takes abuse and comes back for more. I was doing 15 foot high jumps this past winter and sometimes landing on the truck's lid, only damage was a crack in the body and a broken rear body mount. Remember with brushless power though. Out of the box it does about 25-30mph but I was wanting more. And the torque is amazing, out pulls my Nitro Stampede or any of my other RC's any day! I would recommend these to any RC'er

I own a lot of rc cars and trucks but this is by far the most fun to drive truck I have. the way it handles the curves & jumps it looks like the real thing. best bang for the buck, and this is one tough truck, replaced only the motor

Traxxas Slash 1/10 Scale RTR Electric 2WD Short-Course Truck (w/Battery & Wall C
This Thing will go where most can not. Water incuded. Just make dang sure to dry it COMPETLY . That has been my only problem yet is the motor burning up and the spr gear striping which was my falt. Other than that I only wish I had some video of the crashes that has happend. Every time I think oh no I broke it but like always it still keep on going. So thats why my new body will be energizer sponsord....... -//- This thing ROCKS!!! I have had it for 3 days and really put it thought hell. So far only the sper gear has striped out and that was my fault. I got an aluminum but it striped out the pin gear. It's my first Traxxas produck and it will not be my last. Hopefully my next one will be a Revo 3.3 or a slayer3.3. So if you want to know how durable I think the slash is I give it a 10 of 10 (so far)...

Traxxas Slash 1/10 Scale RTR Electric 2WD Short-Course Truck (w/Battery & Wall C
Finally!!! I have been racing and bashing this truck for the last 3 months almost every weekend. I have finally broken a part, it was the spur gear. We have the same 5-6 slashes we race and bash with every weekend and I have yet to see anybody break anything on theirs. My hat's off to Traxxas! Now, only if my T-maxx was this reliable we would be set. -//- I have 10 RC cars now and mainly race 1/8th buggy / truggy and was very hesitant to buy this due to the fact that im broke now and have not used most of the cars I have bought due to boredom with them and figured this would end up the same way. Had a couple friends buy these so I decided this will be my only vehicle purchase this year. WOW were these fun as hell. I got the 4400 mah battery with it and got almost 25-30 run time and with three of us running them most of the day and bashing the crap out of each other none of us broke any parts!! Very fun and well worth the money!

i gutted everything w/ out using it, i have a VXL motor and a Castle Sidewinder ESC, a Zippy 5000mah 15C 3S lipo. Mad fun! already broke a Front and rear tower, but thats an easy fix, (RPM). Wish it was a little more beefier in the tower's...

Traxxas Slash 1/10 Scale RTR Electric 2WD Short-Course Truck (w/Battery & Wall C
great truck, load of fun, but dont go brushless. it doesnt jump well on big jumps so keep it stock on 7 cells and get some nice rims and a proline body -//- wow, the slash is a big car. its bigger overall than my revo 2.5r. its about 2 inches longer than the revo. its tough too. wnet bashing and only a shock cap popped off, and it screwed back on again and never came off again !
ive got a mamba max 7700 in it on 7 cells and trust me, youll need to gear down unless youre going to use the 4600 or 5700. it got up to 190°f in bou 8 mins so i let it cool off and it was fine. ive got stock gearing on mine so mine is the worst case scenario.
i also noticed that out of thebox, the slash is extremely light and well built. oh, and did i mention that it looks great? it looks just like the real thing when driving and when not driving. the body is a little flimsy but aftermarket one are sure to be out in a few months.
the tires are REAL rubber, not that plasticky stuuf like on the stampede or revos. it got the same kind of compound as rustler or maxx tyres. they have sidewalls too which greatly improve handling.
over all, this is a great car, it was so good, i bought a second one! theyre only 200$ which is "really good toy in walmart" price, but they are true hobby grades and with a sidewinder or velineon in them, youve got a 45 mph car for 1/8 engine-less buggy kit.
get one, you wont regret it
