This is a set of MAH 4mm 3D Flybar Paddles for 30/50 size helicopters. These paddles provide the ultimate in cyclic response, while sacrificing very little stability. Featuring a beautiful carbon fiber weave finish, these paddles look as good as they fly. A new non-threaded retaining system allows for ease of adjustability, while allowing more refined adjustment as compared to conventional threaded paddles.
Cyclic authority and precision are absolute necessities for 3D flying. MAH has developed a flybar paddle system that meets this challenge. Paddle design is not confined to weight alone. With an average weight of 22 – 23 grams, these paddles are extremely aggressive. However, to achieve crisp yet stable cyclic response, other factors were considered in their design. Incorporating “dual taper” technology, these paddles are extremely responsive, while not completely sacrificing stability for smooth 3D. The paddle plan-form is tapered from the paddle root to the paddle tip. In addition, the paddle airfoil cross section is also tapered from the root to the tip. This provides for a balance between ultra aggressive and smooth 3D flying requirements. As standard with all MAH products, appearance is very important.
