terrible it worked fine for a month and maby a half but just todday the bottom popped off and first the throttle wouldnt work now the steering and its deffinetly the esc becuase i tried it in multiple cars. I would deffinetly not recomend this to either a racer or basher.

Castle Creations Sidewinder 1/10th Scale Sport Brushless ESC
I put this and a traxxas vxl motor in my traxxas slash today and so far it works out GREAT. Im gonna buy a programer so it will be easier to fit my style but its a great ESC. -//- will this take the traxxas vxl motor in the 2wd slash

Castle Creations Sidewinder 1/10th Scale Sport Brushless ESC
I purchased the Sidewinder and 5700 motor combination for use in an HPI Cyber 10. It has worked flawlessly! I am running a Spectrum 2.4 ghz system and use the Castle Link software to program it. I was impressed enough to purchase two Mamba Max Pro combination systems one of which uses Tekin 7.5 turn sensored motor in an Associated B44. Really nice combination. Runs smooth!

Castle Creations Sidewinder 1/10th Scale Sport Brushless ESC
I used the stock radio on it and my Futaba 2PL radio, both seem to be the same, no effect. Im running this on a Slash with a VXL 3500kv motor. The connectors dont fit on the VXL motor but wrap some tin foil around them, and tape over the connector and its fine. Nice-n smooth, kinda hard to program without a USB cable, but i found the only thing that i found needs adjusting was the break adjustment.

Castle Creations Sidewinder 1/10th Scale Sport Brushless ESC
I recently purchased the side winder and it would not work AT ALL with a normal fm or am radio. I had to purchase a spectrum radio to get it to work. It would run crazy and the not work at all. Also I had to buy the castle link to get it to work properly even after all of that. I am still running it and it seems to be ok now but I have spent a lot of money to get it work right. I would porbably not but another one.
