This is a 2oz bottle of Racers Edge 45wt silicone shock oil used with oil filled shocks. Racers Edge shock oil is made from 100% pure silicone oil and will not thin out in hot weather or thicken up in cold weather. The higher the weight number of the oil, the more damping your shocks will have when riding over bumps.
It is not recommened to mix oils of different brands, as the thickness of oils from different vendors of the same weight rating may vary! Stick to one brand for all your oils, so that you will have a reproducible setup if you need to rebuild your shocks. |
