This is a set of aluminum clutch shoes, and come stock in the Mugen MBX5 and MBX6 buggy kits. These aluminum shoes tend to hit harder than the black or white shoes with little slip. These shoes would be good for situations when the traction is very high. The most common spring used with the aluminum shoes is the 1.0mm springs. Note that aluminum shoes require a decent amount of maintenance, as they will tend to 'melt' so you need to clean up the edges of the shoes with an Exacto knife on a regular basis to make sure the shoes don't get caught on the flywheel.

Mugen Seiki Aluminum Clutch Shoes (3)
These clutch shoes are the 7075 alluminum kit versions and work really good when traction is decent to really good or if the engine needs help on the bottom end, or if the jumps are tough to clear. They don't last quite as long as the hard versions, but give the most punch allowed by law, and set the standard for other brands to follow....

These shoes work well and last about 2 gallons like stated in another review. Reliable and consistent.

Mugen Seiki Aluminum Clutch Shoes (3)
This clutch is still the standard that all other 1/8th scale clutches are measured against. I have bought this part number at least 10 times because it works so well. I am averaging about 2 gallons in a 1/8th scale buggy, and 1 and 1/2 in a truggy. I run it with the 1.1 mm springs.
