This is a pair of pre-mounted Team Losi 1/8th scale step pin tires in Red (soft) compound. The 1/8 Step-Pin Tires feature the same race winning tread design that has made it the most popular nitro truck tire in the country. The carcass and the included foam inserts have been developed specifically for the rigors of off-road racing.
Team Losi tires generally come in three compounds, Red (soft), Silver (hard) and Pink (clay). The red compound is the softest and the most common for wet track and less abrasive conditions, while the harder silver compound is for very high bite track conditions. Some tires are also available in the Pink compound, which is a special compound formulated for hard packed indoor clay tracks. |
