This is a set of two AKA City Block 1/8th scale off-road truggy
tires in Super Soft compound. The “Super Soft” or V compound as is noted in the part number is for cooler conditions when the track is transitioning from wet to a drier hard packed line that is not quite grooved in. Great for winter and early spring racing conditions. Super Soft still retains the relative long lasting wear characteristics that AKA is known for while providing that extra measure of traction for the trickiest of surface conditions.
The City Block tire is designed for hard to
medium-packed surfaces. The two-stage tread features square mini-pins
on top of rectangular blocks. The square mini pins are designed for
superior grip on a hard-packed, high-traction racing surface. The
rectangular blocks underneath the mini pins provide greater tread
depth, which is also makes this versatile tire ideal for those times
when you drift into the loose dirt.
