This is a 353 .12 Race 2009 version on road race engine from Novarossi. This is the Novarossi Factory TUNED race version of the motor!
Features:
- Crankshaft: The 353 RACE 12/09 comes standard with our Tuned Crankshaft. Made to meet even the highest standards of our most demanding drivers. Slightly reduced rotational mass and greatly improved fuel flow provide great performance.
- Sleeve: The optimized sleeve of the 353 RACE 12/09 engine is made from hard chromed brass and is complying with EFRA regulations, having the maximum allowable transfer ports.
- Conrod: The new conrod of the 353 RACE 12 engine is further improved by increasing the brass bushing and removing unnecessary body mass.
- Ceramic ball bearings: From the factory out the 353 RACE 12/09 engine comes with high grade ceramic precision ball inside the ball bearings. These ceramic precision balls are lighter and stronger which improves performance and reliability over steel balls.
- Backplate: The 353 RACE 12/09 engine has a backplate with a steel inlay, this reduces friction and wear when the conrod touches it. The round shape reduces the dead space inside the engine.
- Combustion chamber: The combustion chamber is supported by an O-Ring which is placed between the combustion chamber and the crankcase to reduce the vibrations of the combustion chamber.
