This is a set of two Losi 2.2" Memory Foam inserts, and are intended for use with 2.2" Rock Crawler Tires. These are an excellent upgrade for any 2.2 class rock crawler
Memory foam has many distinct advantages over standard foam inserts. Not only does it allow the tire to absorb the obstacle which helps to maintain a level chassis, it also allows more tire flex, which creates a bigger tire contact patch. More contact patch, equals more traction. But possibly the biggest advantage is the compression rate of the foam. Standard open cell foams spring back to shape quickly which creates wheel hop. But memory foam maintains a compressed shape and does not bounce back like standard open cell foam which helps to maintain a level of stability that previously could not be achieved.
