This is the Jammin Products JPX.28 off-road truggy engine by OFNA. Jammin Jay himself did the R&D on this engines and paid special attention to the details that are so important for off-road R/C racing. Such as durability, ease of tuning, and driveabilty. Tweaks to the materials, crank timing, and tolerances all played a part in getting the engine to the high performance edge that Jammin Jay requires. The OFNA Jammin JPX.28 engine delivers excellent bottom end power with great top end run out and includes a Turbo Plug type head. The Jammin JPX.28 is all out big block performance but still very easy to drive and gets surprisingly good fuel mileage. Turbo Glow plug included. Made in Italy.
These engines run best with a medium hot Turbo plug, such as the
OFN51006 plug, or a O.S. P4 plug. This
engine comes with an OFN51006 medium glow plug in the box. You may wish
to run a OFN51005 glow plug which is hotter to make the idle more
consistent, but the colder plug will produce a little more overall
power.
