 This is a optional KDE Direct Gyro Mount, and is intended for use with the Align T-Rex 550 helicopter. This mount features channels that have been provided for tie-down straps, zip-ties, and other fastening methods for the gyro and/or flybarless electronics. The Gyro Mount Upgrade provides a series of performance enhancements to the TREX 550E helicopter, including: (1) large footprint to accommodate a wide-range of flybarless/gyro sensors, (2) direct-bolted servos to the tray for significantly increased rigidity and frame strength, and (3) reduced sensor vibration because the mount is shifted away from the rear tail components, where a majority of the vibration is generated.
