Core-RC Magnetic Parts Tray (Black)

This thing is pretty worthless. I picked it up only to add a few bucks to my order so I'd qualify for a coupon. My biggest gripe is just how poor the magnet is; it barely has any strength. The magnet is essentially just a flexible sheet (like you might find on a fridge magnet) with double-stick tape on it (that you have to stick into the aluminum tray). It has no holding strength. I put all sorts of screws, bearings and body clips in it and they all just slide around and fall out. The only thing I could get it to hold onto was an X-Acto blade, and likely because it only weighs a couple grams. Skip this and get a real magnetic tray from Amazon. Lastly, the tray itself is aluminum. WHY IS IT NOT STEEL?! If the tray itself were steel the whole thing could be a magnet in and of itself.

Complete and utter piece of crap. The "magnet" is worthless.
