 This is an optional Lynx Heli Tail Servo Mount, and is intended for use with the MS Heli Protos 450X and Mini Protos 450 helicopters. The 450 X is an amazing 450 class RTF helicopter, but Lynx has analyzed the performance of the Protos 450 and has found a number of areas that can be improved. One noted issue was the stock tail servo mount. These stock plastic parts will not clamp the boom as needed, so vibration and tail wag can weaken the grip, negatively affecting the tail performance. Lynx Heli Innovations has redesigned the standard 450 X plastic tail servo mount, using 7075 aluminum with two clamps that will better support the tail servo.
