This is the Reedy 121VR .21 competition nitro buggy and truggy engine from Reedy! This engine is a powerhouse, and is also the 2009 ROAR National Champion which powered Ryan Maifield's Associated RC8T truck to a top qualifying position and then victory in the A Main event! Ryan then backed up this win with a 2nd place finish in the 1/8 buggy A Main event about an hour later. The tuned pipe used by the AE team drivers on this engine is the EFRA 2035 pipe from Team Associated or Thunder Tiger.
Designed in-house by Team Associated's esteemed engineering staff and track-tested by racing team drivers such as Ryan Maifield, Craig Drescher and Richard Saxton, Reedys all-new 121VR Competition Nitro Buggy Engine is produced using state-of-the-art materials and high-tech manufacturing processes. The result is a race-proven engine that is capable of producing world-class power and fuel economy with a driver friendly linear power band.
