A spring tool is a must have. Makes handling the springs unbelievably easy. A bit on the small side, quite thin handle but the access to the springs is sometimes limited. (I would still have liked it a bit thicker, like the Losi that I maybe should have bought) I used it a few times and it seems solid enough, no bending of the curved tip or anything. Just be gentle as you pull the springs and this should should do the trick at half the cost of most others (Losi included).

Racers Edge Pipe Spring Tool With Cap
I bought this tool trying to save a few bucks over buying a nice one. This tool shaft bent the very FIRST TIME I used it. This is a very short tool and the materials used are weak.
A BIG THUMBS DOWN FROM ME....
Just buy the losi exhaust spring tool like I wound up having to do anyway and be done with it.
