Traxxas Slayer Pro 4WD Short Course Race Truck
I have owned 3 other Traxxas nitro cars & this is by far the finest one yet offered. The handeling takes some getting use to, and so does the power! One thing to say, HOLY S@#T !

Traxxas Slayer Pro 4WD Short Course Race Truck
I bought my Slayer probly 2 or 3 months ago so far I've run 3 gallons of 30% nitro fuel Through it and the only problems i have had with it was the throttle servo went out i replaced it with a Hi-Tec servo and havent had any more problems... at first the body roll was hard to deal with so i bought a sway bar kit for the truck and man talk about a BIG difference in handling. the stock rims that come with the truck chip and crack fairly easily im trying to find some aluminum rims for the truck but no luck... If anyone finds some aluminum rims for the slayer please let me know thanks

This truck is great!! From break in to running, mine is almost doing wheelies at the local track.

Traxxas Slayer Pro 4WD Short Course Race Truck
Sure can Nick. OS has a engine for it. Heres the part #OSM12241. RB has a .23 for it also. Good luck. Had bad luck with a .15 Traxxas also in the past but this motor is strong though. -//- Ive had my Slayer about a month now and cant stop looking at it. Im 35 and Im like a kid again. This thing is sick the way it handles and the body roll is so true to life. Traxxas got the suspension spot on and looks just like the real life CORR trucks! Im just looking forward to racing it at my local track. Word is that the Slash and Slayer are getting so popular the we are getting our own classes finally. Wooohooo! I would recomend this to anyone for some real fender to fender racing. The thing is fast and the second gear almost drags the rear bumper from the torque lol! Stiffer suspension helps it corner big time. At 359 its a steal! Not to mention break in was a easy too. Have fun!

Traxxas Slayer Pro 4WD Short Course Race Truck
This thing is fun! in stock form, it will not hold off attacks from buggys/truggys on the track for too long, but its not because of the jumping or speed...mainly the stock suspension is so soft that sharp turns suffer(plenty of revo parts to fix that)
By the way, i really enjoy driving this thing with the stock setup-up on my rough track w/ huge jumps, the look of this thing in action is unique to say the least-awsome at best~

on the asphalt, well....its an offroad truck no matter what anyone says, set-up to the street with hard springs and treads if thats where u like to go fast....the stock slayer will roll-over like a mitsubishi SUV!

throttle servo went bad during break in, and a clip fell off the universal drive-shaft, so i found out that traxxas has a 'send part 1st, ask questions later' policy...nice

Traxxas Slayer Pro 4WD Short Course Race Truck
I own many kits and let me say this is beyond any of them. The slayer is the most fun you could have with any offroad vehicle. The speed, handling, look and feel of this truck is a must have. Its built on the revo 2.5 short chassis so its very durable and after swapping out the 50k diff oil to 30k in the front and 10k in the rear it handled perfectly.

I'll never understand why people think they should write reviews on procucts they admit to not even having.
People rely on the advice of product owners for word of mouth recommendations, or rebukes.
If you dont have it, keep your opinions to yourself.
The Slayer is a strong, fast, well handling car, that is great to drive.
It really doesnt serve any purpose, but it is a lot of fun...

Awesome only pain is the break in takes a long time. Now that it is broke in, get out of the way. Handles great even my 8 year old son can rock this baby around the track.

why would it brake on a jump? its basically a narrower Revo, as fas as I know Revos dont break when you jump them.
