This is the Losi TEN Rally-X 1/10 RTR 4WD Rally Car. The Losi TEN Rally-X is ready to tear up the street with unprecedented driving characteristics. Based off the proven TEN SCTE platform and armed with new AVC™ (Active Vehicle Control™) technology, the Ten Rally-X utilizes intuitive sensors to adjust steering and throttle output at a rate faster than humanly possible, this provides a stable and controlled driving experience where drifts are more dramatic, and accelerations are consistently fluid. This advanced stability is indispensable as the Rally-X comes equipped with an exceedingly powerful brushless 4-pole brushless motor and a waterproof design that provides drivers with fewer limitations, and more opportunities to tear up the ground.
AVC (Active Vehicle Control) Technology
AVC Technology is the newest Spektrum™ RC innovation from Horizon Hobby. This Spektrum stabilization system adds a whole new level of control to your RC driving experience. AVC technology utilizes sensors to adjust steering and throttle output, providing you with a more stable and controlled driving experience.
- Heading Hold: AVC technology’s Heading Hold feature allows you to focus on driving faster with the confidence of complete control. Heading Hold manages steering output by automatically aligning a vehicle’s tires to your chosen direction, and, when centered, maintains that direction regardless of the amount of traction or ruggedness of terrain. Now lining up and hitting that big jump just became as easy as punching the trigger.
- Throttle Management: The Throttle Management function enabled by AVC technology assists in maintaining maximum grip in even the most challenging of environments. AVC technology adjusts a vehicle’s throttle output in order to minimize wheel slip, allowing a driver to accelerate with total control. Whether you’re heading into a turn with too much speed or driving on a slippery surface where traction is minimized, Throttle Management assists in maximizing traction when you need it the most.
- Adjustable Sensitivity: The amount of stability assistance that AVC technology provides can be adjusted to suit any combination of skill level, driving style and terrain. Depending on which Spektrum™ transmitter you are using, adjustments can be made using programming functions or a steering rate knob. AVC can also be turned completely off for a traditional driving experience where you can test your driving abilities.

Losi TEN Rally-X 1/10 RTR 4WD Rally Car
Threw in a 3s 50c Lipo and I was amazed at how fast this thing is, was grinning from ear to ear. With the AVC it makes the power very controllable. Tough little car, far tougher than the all plastic Traxxas Rally in my opinion. Back ordered it and received it 20 days before ETA date, A+. Used the $25 off coupon, thank you Amain! Put one in your arsenal, you won't be sorry! - 2/15/14
Update 3/10/14 - This thing should be broken by now but it keeps going hard. I have put it through all the paces. No problems except for one small annoyance, had to turn the ESC so dirt clods and rocks do not shut the car off. Just some new double sided tape does the trick. Drifts around dirt and gravel corners like a champ! Still A+, fun as he** to drive.
Update 4/11/14 - Went through a few body posts, you will break those pretty often being rough on it. The body can be crashed to the point of the rear was turned inside and out and then I popped back into shape (bad wreck). Takes some throttle finesse to land the jumps perfect every time. Proline Strikers work on there nicely, no trimming. Love the fact there are no foam inserts on the Strikers. On 2S, no problems. They rub a little on 3S because of the swell but I don't mind. Mine is obviously not a shelf queen.
Update 9/3/2015 - Have only had to replace the front diff driveshaft from the last update to this day. $8.00 part I think. Still the best RC car I own for all around bashing fun without breaking something every time you run it. Have seen this thing go through some amazing crashes and drive away. Will buy another Losi product in the future as I have lost a lot of money on Traxxas and Associated cars, always ordering parts to keep them going.

This car is a friggin blast! its basically a losi ten scte just with a rally body and tires. extremely fun to drive on 2s , haven't tried 3s yes but no need 2 s is just right. Very durable unless you slam it into a wall trying to drift around a pylon in a parking garage at full throttle. Only broke the front bumper on that wreck. i bought the mip proformance kit for this and it totally changes this car . talk about a hop up option. its now a ten scte 2.0 rally x . Highly recommend you get this bad azz rc

Losi TEN Rally-X 1/10 RTR 4WD Rally Car
Follow up. Car came with a defective ESC. Had a staggered start and getting a hold/response from horizon hobby is very time consuming and difficult. The stock tires were bald after about 3 runs on a 3s and also tore in half due to the light center diff fluid. The body in easily scraped and cracked. to really make this fun i turned it into a ten scte a have had an absolute blast with it. You can change from scte to rally with 8 screws which is tons of fun and when you cut out the body and put some sc tires on it, then the rally experience is enjoyable. so far its been plenty durable with the acception of a body post. Definately needs a little work out of the box. Also the dx2e system is cheap. I would loved to have seen the dx2l system for such an expensive car. Overall its pretty fun after you get new tires and do a few other modifications

FUN FUN FUN DID I MENTION FUN? Get this rally car! It comes hopped up in comparison to most RTRs. This is a real looking car, drifting around corners and leaving a roost from all four wheels in the straights. So much fun I want to drive it 25/8/366! Get this rig! You won't regret it!!!
