Yokomo B-MAX4 II World Spec 1/10 Competition 4WD Buggy Kit
At this price, its cater for pure racer's need.
Driving: the factory setup is incredibly easy to drive and fast!
You will notice straight away how much easier it is to hit every apex in every corner! My best consistency is 0.03sec in a 6mins race and I give it to this car! I was even able to TQ on a full race day and myself held together by panadols. It has a very low CG which means I hardly ever traction roll and so far has the best high speed cornering speed I ever saw in any buggy. I was able to outpace any car I've raced with at the end of straight high speed sweeper.
Build: you do not need any more upgrades for it to be a race winning buggy! Japanese quality as usual. One thing stand out is you need to dremel the top deck cause they chamge the gear assembly in the WN edition but kept the mould for top deck. The planetary gears need to be pushed in all the way or it will bind. Cross pin wheels are easily changed to hex but I kept the rears pin. Spare full weight body is also nice option

Yokomo B-MAX4 II World Spec 1/10 Competition 4WD Buggy Kit
This is a great kit. I have been out of 4wd for a while (my last 4wd was a Yokomo MX-4 super dogfighter) and it was nice to get back into it with a unique kit that was fun and fast to build. Easy to follow instructions and well packaged. The stock setup for the car worked well at my local track and it was a blast to drive. The only complaints that I would give this kit are 1. The body is very thin and feels like it could tear and 2. The wheels still use the pin configuration which makes getting rims a little bit of a challenge. I have talked to my local hobby shop and I am going to try to convert the pins to hex’s so I can use b44 rims, we shall see how that works.
