Kyosho Lazer ZX-5 SP 1/10 4WD Racing Buggy (Stick Pack)
I have had this car for about two months now and i have to say it a very durable and fast car. Kyosho has repeatedly made great off road 1/10th scale buggies, and this one is a success. I run it with a SXX TC spec and a 6.5 motor, and sometimes a 3.5, and this thing hauls. i recently jumped it over 60ft practically straight up( i know this b/c it cleared a tree which is 57ft tall). and a turn buckle broke. not even the shock caps popped.( this same jump completely destroyed a baja 5B, and a heavily modified Savage X. I have a track in my back yard,( which is over 700 ft long, and designed for my 1/8th xray truck.) i race this with a 5000mah orion lipo again the xray and i was laping it with three or four laps.

Overall this is a great car at a great price, a total setup will cost about 500-800

Kyosho Lazer ZX-5 SP 1/10 4WD Racing Buggy (Stick Pack)
I have had this kit for about 8 months and love it. It seems to drive more precisely than the B44 imo. I have a 6000mah maxamps lipo and it is perfectly balanced side to side, so no need for a saddle pack design. This car does have weak points though. There are a few must have upgrades and a few I would recommend. You must buy the aluminum shock tower mounts from 3 racing or other manufactures, I think Hot racing makes one but they are much more expensive. You must also buy the titanium turnbuckles, the stock steel ones are very weak and bend easily. I recommend the xtreme carbon shock towers, but not a must have. While you are at it buy a wing and dust cover (chassis protector) from 3 racing. The wing is like an 1/8 scale wing and doesn't get torn up like lexan wings. In my opinion the biggest weak point on this car is the hub and carrier (LA254). They break a lot and randomly, sometimes they will survive a huge crash, sometimes it only takes a little one, but at any rate buy several as backup. I haven't personally broken an a-arm yet but I have a few spares of them as well.

Overall this car is great, the shocks are ten times easier to build than associated. It drives great and is very durable once you replace the shock tower mounts. I wouldn't trade this car for any other 4wd buggy out there right now. Everything is holding up great and no wear on the drive train or anything. This is a great buggy, if you are like me and want to try something that not everyone else has give it a go, you won't be disappointed.
